Can you please explain me in step by step how to create multiple portfolio ?
dogs/horses/nature
and then in dogs
dog1/dog2/dog3 etc?
I tried and already asked before. But do not see and get it, even not with the explanation below.

I do not understand what the screen option panel is. Just the left bar, with pages etc? I see departments under portfolio. But still not visible in the portfolio.

Shortly:

Create parent departments. They will be your different portfolio pages. And create sub departments for your parent departments. These will be your portfolio filters.

Go to Appearance > Menus. Open the Departments box from the Screen Options panel.

Add your parent departments to your menu. These are portfolio pages.

Add new portfolio items to your sub departments.

Thank you for you reply. There is still something missing for me:

‘Paco’ and ‘Pukkie’ belong under ”honden” (dogs)
But every file map and department is visible everywhere…

I want when you click on ”honden” (dogs) you only see ”paco” and ”pukkie” and all dogs1/dogs2/dogs3
When you click on horses…horses1/horses2/horses3

Update the theme to the latest version and select “Portfolio with Departments” template for your portfolio page.

You can download the latest version from Themeforest.

Thank you. Normally with other themes from themeforest I can update via the login panel from wordpress at the site.
I don’t see this option with ”photographer theme”

I can download the theme again, but when I want to upload the theme the file map already exist….so i cant upload the latest version to my website.
Do i have to delete the first theme? (i tried with filezilla but have not enough knowledge about it so the login by ftp failed.
I just want to upload and use the multiple portfolio. Hope you can explain me how.

What are departments?
What are sub departments?
wjat are categories?
How do the above connect to portfolios?
How to relate departments to menus?

Are there pictures in departments?

Hi,
my website has been closed for two days, which is appalling for business, I have asked for help here, yet absolutely no answer.
I am so disappointed, this is the third envato wordpress theme that I have bought and I have never got such a lack of response.
The documentation is absolutely useless, as for the forum the answers (sometimes 4 year old) bring no light for a non specialist of html or css …, which I am.

So is there here anybody to answer me?
