Hi Team,

Thanks in advance. Thanks for a wonderful theme (Read).

I have a slight concern. As explained in the title of this post,

Theme Options>Blog>Automatic Excerpts> Yes – For All Post Formats

is not working. There are certain posts that are not standard on my website. Hence, I am unable to get an excerpt.

Also, can I get an option to choose the length and number of words for my excerpt. There are certain plugins that do this. Should I install them.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi VarunSh,

Disable automatic excerpt functionality from theme options > blog > excerpt and add the “insert more tag” to your content OR don’t add “insert more tag” between your content and just activate the automatic excerpt functionality from theme options > blog > excerpt.

For now, you are not able yo choose the length and number of words for excerpt area but we will keep that in our mind for future updates. You can install and run a plugin for this feature.
