Hi there,

Sorry I am still a bit confused as to how I can add in my customized icons from Fontello.com. I have created and added in my .svg files onto fontello.com but am not sure what the easiest way to make them appear on my page.

I saw this post from previously about importing config.json but what is this and how do I import it into fontello???

And then I watched this youtube video:

Hi, You can download our theme packet from themeforest again. Please find config.json in css/fonts/fontello at theme folder. Then go to fontello.com and import this file and select your extra icons as well then download it. After that connect your theme via ftp and replace new fontello with old file.

I downloaded the theme packet again from my account in Envato, but when I imported the config.json file in fontello.com, all it did was import the Google plus icon. And how do I select my own custom svg files?

Hi, When you import it, our default icons will selected. At the top of the screen you can see custom icons area. You should drag and drop your custom svg icons and add them together and download them.

I did that already but then what do I do once I downloaded them onto my desktop?

Hi, you will download fontello file. You should just replace our fontello file.

I just replaced the content that was in:

empathy > css > fonts > fontello (this is on my desktop).

So do I need to reinstall the theme again? Or do I need a plugin to be able to use this new fontello folder?

I am sorry but I don’t know how this new fontello folder can be utilized if all I just did was replace it in the theme folder that is on my desktop.

You should use filezilla to connect your theme files and replace the folder in the theme file not on the desktop.

Hi, You can use any free vector icons. Easily search on the browser. You don’t need to use shortcodes for these type of icons. Just upload the images.
