I’m having the same issue on my website: http://www.gamedesignfu.com/#/portfolio
Lightboxes aren’t working and I see a similar issue to Alfredo in that when you click on any item in the portfolio, the little progress box in the lower right corner shows up as just black. There’s no white wheel that I’ve seen on other websites that use the same theme.

I feel like I solved this once before. Any hints?

Oh and I updated to the latest WordPress (3.5) and the latest impressivCard 2.01

Ok, I’ve been shotgunning settings and it seems that deactivating JetPack solves the issue. The current version is 2.1. (My site currently has it disabled now) I’d like to enable JetPack again, does anyone at PixelWars know if the new version just broke something?

Same thing is happening to me. I disabled jetpack and was able to get it working partially (BTW, the new version of jetpack has compatibility issues with most themes, i’ve had to disable some elements of it on other websites i have, i’ll post which ones to disable with this theme after i get it to work).

But the problem i’m having now, even with jetpack disabled is that if I click on the lightbox portfolio item first it works perfectly, if i click on any other item, and then try to navigate to the lightbox portfolio item the lightbox doesn’t work, my images load but one under the other. I’ve tested with firefox and IE9.

Hi, i see, sorry but this is how it works, if you click on a lightbox item it will open in ligtbox, if you click on a portfolio link it navigates through all portfolio items in ajax portfolio details window.

I’m having similar issues with Lightbox in the theme and Jetpack. It seems that the Jetpack social sharing plugin causes the issue, because the Lightbox works fine when this portion of Jetpack is disabled.

If anyone has any thoughts or workarounds, please let me know. I’d like to use the theme’s built in Lightbox functionality, but Jetpack’s social sharing functions are important for me.

CORRECTION: It seems that it’s working now. Very strange. The social icons were popping up under lightbox thumbnails, and then the lightbox wasn’t working. After reinstalling Jetpack and reactivating the socials, it seems to be working now…

WAIT… I take that back… it’s not working again. So frustrating. I have no idea why, but when Jetpack social sharing is turned on, Lightbox don’t work on the portfolio pages. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OK, I apologize for the over posting… but I believe I just wanted to post this for anyone else having trouble.

I realized that the share buttons created by Jetpack were being laid over the link to trigger the Lightbox from the thumbnail, so I just hid that sharing div when it is in the portfolio “mask” div created on the thumbnails page:

div.mask div.sharedaddy {display:none;}

The same effect could probably be achieved by adjusting the z-index or otherwise repositioning the sharedaddy div when it appears over a portfolio thumbnail.

I hope this helps someone out.
