Hello ,

How do I change the order of the portfolio categories? I read in the forums that you change the post date but when I goto the quick edit it only gives me the option to change the name and not the dates it was posted.

You can easily edit the subdepartments order by editing the date. just change the publishing date of a portfolio item.

Hey,

I was talking about the main categories themselves that you can select for categorizing. For example on your demo site you have – All – media – illustrations as options. Where those categories are to create new ones it does not give me the option to change publish date.

Hi ArthurNie,
I see what you mean. WordPress doesn’t allow us to order them manually. You should delete those categories and add new. The new one will be on the front.
Also, you can try to use this plugins. We haven’t tested them yet but they can solve your issue.
