    Could you please tell me where to change the sidebar width (I’d like it to be narrower then it is by default, to leave more space for the main content)?

    I tried to find it in the theme editor but couldn’t..

    Thank you!

    Hi, add the code below to the External CSS/JS box under Appearance > Theme Options > Style tab.

    <script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
        $('#primary.span7').removeClass('span7').addClass('span8');
        $('#secondary.span5').removeClass('span5').addClass('span4');
    });
    </script>

    and add the code below to the Custom CSS box in same window;

    .featured { text-align: center;  }

    where would i find the current width of the default sidebar.?

    is it 250, 300 – does it matter – can things be set at different widths – i noticed that on the demo – not every widget is the same width.

    Just what I needed, is there anyway to make the new changes load immediately? While the page is loading it first loads the old css and then swaps mid-load to these new changes

    This is not possible by default, needs more further customization, you may consider working with a professional.
