Hi guys, I can’t see any images using default HOME template page. There is a Photo_Wall Animation and I have no idea how to choose or set up which images to appear. Thanks for help
Hi, images come from Portfolio.
Add Portfolio Item
Go to: Portfolio > Add New:
Set featured image.
Select type from Details box.
Portfolio Item Types
Standard: You can add text, images and videos.
Photo Gallery: Add only images.
Click Add Media button above the content editor.
Choose “Create Gallery” and select multiple images.
I am having the same issue where I only see the ‘loading dots’ from the home page. Home page alternative works fine. Any other suggestions to fix this problem? I followed the exact steps that you mentioned in your reply. All that does is create a new section to view in the ‘Work’ page since it’s creating a new portfolio, but its not solving the issue of the home page.
FYI I did import the included xml. Take note several media files failed (Not sure why, tried twice). Though I do not think that is the actual problem.

Thanks I did get it to work eventually. I have another question about the photowall but I will make a new thread for it so I don’t hijack this other persons.
i have tried what’s outlined here and cannot get it to work, can someone help me with what I’m doing wrong.

Is it possible to select which photos will be used for photowall? For example, I have some nude content ant want to exclude it from photowall.
@doristan: Sorry, it is not possible by default. But, you can set an image logo from theme options.
@MLeoPhotos: Select post-name option from settings > permalinks.@a.stavonin: I will try to find a solution for this.
I’m still getting one large picture with scrolling text and moving dots above it versus the photo wall on the template.
help i did everything you guys said but i just see the dots moving around, pls does anyone knows other solution ??
i already added 6 gallery of my pics and it still just displaying the dots =(
I cleaned the whole gallery.
Then I create a gallery with new images.
issue came up.how many images does the photowall support ?? and after deleting the whole galleries how many galleries did you upload again ??

i made it, i had to do the next steps.
1.- erase all the portfolio gallery
2.- erase all the media files
3.- rename my media files
4.- upload my media files again
5.- create portfolio with add object and the insert object instead of create gallery
6.- use photo gallery instead of standart in type
7.- you have to create various galleries so you can use same or different 50 o 70 pics beacuse the photowall uses 14 pic per line.Hello.
I have a problem.
I want the photo_wall have 3 lines and 14 columns.
If I create a portfolio of 42 photographs, no animation. If I create a larger portfolio, a new row with 3 photos and a column at the end with 3 holes in black color appears.

– And a standard page portfolio, from where does the – Details “Photo gallery” uses it´s pictures ?
When i select the “Photo Galley” (not standard) som other pictures appear on the Portfolio site. Not the ones in the Portfolio post. I have downloaded the sample data from the theme.

Ok the photowall works now. I hade to erase all photos. Upload them again.
But photogallery vs standard is a real bug. The tumbnails are blurry in standard.
Great theme but to much bugs in the photos.
Hello. I need to select the photos that appear on the homepage Photowall.
I do not want all the pictures you have in wordpress appear.I have another problem
if I put the social buttons below Photowall the Photowall looks bad, with black squares.
How I can fix it?Hi, this is 3 days fighting with this photo wall and finally it works for me so i share with you what i did (after reading all the post above) :
– Erased all portfolio and gallery
– Erased all medias
– Didn’t rename the photos (like someone did before, i am 2 lazy lol)
– Uploaded all my photos
– Created a new portfolio (and this is the important part) :– give a name to the portfolio
– before adding media, i choose in the right column “format : gallery” and “details : photo gallery”
– then clic on “add media”
– select all the photos i want
– clic ok (dont create gallery!)
– publish the portfolioEt voilà, now it should work :)
@ fabienharrow – thanks a lot, i had also the problems to get start the photo_wall.
but for now, the wall is displayed correctly. but there ist no animation!!

horesti have no animation either on my laptop but when i look at it on my smartphone (mobile version) it works ! :s

titles=”” … Seperate with commas.
interval=”” … 3000 (millisecond)
Example:
[intro] Hello. I am a [rotate_words titles="writer,freelancer"] [/intro]

Just create a normal gallery in your page content. See homepage section in the new doc.

I´m trying the photowall theme. The thumbs are there but there is no animation for each thumb. I inserted the shortcode as you can see in http://www.nietomaldonado.com/EditPage.png

I read everything on this topic and i did it as it is written. First it worked perfectly. Today, i changed some pictures in the gallery and now i can’t see any photowall at all. Do i have to delete all images and do I have to do everything again?The page is: http://www.caneve.org
I have the solution. I don’t have to create a gallery. Thats it. Just leave it like it is, so the theme takes all my pics. But know follows question number 2:
What do i have to do to exclude pics?
Hey, my client wants the photowall animation to show more images.
Currently, it is only showing images from some portfolio departments.
Newer ones are not shown.
How can I fix this?Hi, photowall fetchs images randomly from portfolio posts, If you want to show some pre chosen images on your photowall, you can add a gallery to your homepage and add the images you want to show on photowall.
