Contact form trouble

    Hi!

    I have seen an issue in the Contact form, when you press the botton send, you know that after pressing send botton, turn up a picture, in my case always appears a red cross which suggest that the email has not been sent properly.

    However I receive the email that I wrote so the problem is that the shortcade does not show the correct push up, green when all works fine and red if something works bad.

    This is my code:

    Sorry, I have update the them and It’s continue happening because I have already the last version and it was not a solution. Any advice?

    Thanks for your help but It till happens.
    I try with other browser, Explorer and Firefox and also the trouble follows.

    Normally I don’t use this contact form, because it does not work fine. Please tell me when you will check it in order to change the contact form by other one.
    I hope that no one text me through the contact form this days…

    Hi,

    this is really weird, i just checked the mail send function and it should be working on your side too :/, as a workaround edit js/send-mail.js in theme folder in a text editor and find line : 26

    $alert.addClass( 'error' );

    and comment this line as;

    //$alert.addClass( 'error' );

    Hi,

    Now It’s working, It shows the correct box, thanks. I know that it’s only a patch.
    The fuction that checks if the email It’s correct, works fine.
    however the captch does not work, you could write a wrong answer that is appeared the “check box”.

    sorry with this patch applied, it is not possible to show an error message for captcha, you either disable captcha for your contact form or revert the patch and contact your server people about the issue : your server is not responding a message back to ajax calls.
