It seems the “main slider” option is dependent upon posts being sticky or not. As I played with it, the slider only will display articles if they are set to be sticky. If no articles are set to be sticky, the “main slider” does not display. Is this correct?
What I have witness is sticky articles both displaying in the slider and above new blog posts in the loop. This effectively means articles are being duplicated in the “main slider” and then again right below the slider.
How can I both display the “slider” for posts I want to “feature” while also hiding sticky posts from the loop?
Does this make sense?
Hi, right now, the main slider shows the latest 5 posts if they have featured image. But we will improve the main slider functionality to display only sticky post. Thanks for the feedback.
