Is there a way to keep the sticky posts for the Main Slider in the regular blog post listing as well? I didn´t not expect that it works that way that posts disappear and be visible in the Slider only.

Hallo guys, I have the same question as Larris: of course, I could dublicate my posts in the worst case.
However, maybe there is a chance that I can keep the sticky post both on the slider and on regular blog?

In this version check out the activate drop down option of the main slider in the theme options to include featured posts also to regular posts list.
I updated my theme and took a look at the slider options (it’s working like a charm now!). One problem, though, I want the remove the icons from the posts titles on homepage.

Hi, when I click “include sticky posts” I notice it has the sticky posts on the main slider AND shows the sticky posts under it. However, when I click “exclude sticky posts” it removes those posts from my blog posts completely.
Is there a way we can have the sticky posts SHOW on the main slider and also show up in the blog posts in the ORIGINAL order (not moving the sticky posts to the top, or removing them completely)?

If you choose a post as a sticky, it will automatically show in the main slider. At this step, you can include or exclude stick posts from blog. But as you know, wordpress is moving up the sticky posts to the top.

Well I’m facing some kind of that issue:
If I don’t use sticky posts no featured image is shown in the ‘Main Slider’. I double checked it with both options (yes – include sticky posts / yes – exclude sticky posts).
No image is shown:

Do you have sticky posts? When you go to appearance > theme options > main slider and activate it your posts will come automatically to the slider.No sticky posts due I don’t like that.
I just want to ‘fill’ the main slider with some of the latest featured images.

It is not possible by default to add extra featured images. You can only add sticky posts to the main slider.
