Hello,

I am trying to make my website look like this demo page:

however, my website only appears in about half the width, and has a lot of white space surrounding it. Is this a common issue?

It is not a common issue. It looks like punctuation error or something. Could you check the step in the documentation please.
Please try to use the shortcodes like this;

[photo_wall animation=”random” interval=”1600″ max_step=”3″]

[intro]
Hi. I am Bob Smith. I am a photographer.
I capture [rotate_words titles=”life.,moments.,happiness.,emotions.,action.,impression.,beauty.”]
[button text="Discover" url="http://themes.pixelwars.org/photographer/portfolio/"][/intro]

If you still have a trouble i will give you a custom css code and you can try this.
```
.home-wrap .intro + * { margin: auto; max-width: none; }
```

It was not an issue with punctuation, but simply I had placed the photowall shortcode below the intro text.
