Hello –

I would like the photo captions to appear in the GRID gallery.
How can I edit the code to allow this?

I’ve created a test page (http://narrat-ive.com/test/) and would like the captions (Name / Price) to appear below each photo.

Hi Anne,

you can use this custom css code to show gallery titles below the image;
```
figcaption.gallery-caption {
    padding-top: 5px; font-size: 12px;
}
.gallery figure {
    padding-bottom: 40px;
}
.gallery-icon  {
    height: 100%;
}
```

Thanks! The CSS for the caption worked, but I’m having an issue with photos linking.

1. If I insert a single image that links to a “custom URL” … it doesn’t work.

2. If I insert a grid gallery with a caption … that won’t link either.

You can check out both examples on http://narrat-ive.com/test/.
Any ideas? Ideally, I would like grid gallery images to link to custom URLS. They are actually product images with affiliate links.

Hi annerutter,
You items link to media file now. Please click to Add media > insert a media and you can see the attachment display settings. Choose link to custom url.
I just checked it and it is working.

I replied to the email response with a screen shot … I must be missing something because it says custom URL.

Actually, the link works when I check from my phone – but not my desktop …

I’ve got it working. I also created rows so I don’t have to worry about the gallery link issue.
