Page Template Width's

I’ve noticed that if I set an Empathy custom page widget so that it can link from the main set of nav buttons on the left, it doesn’t honour the setting chosen on that pages “Templates” section.

In other words, if I go to the page via the pages permalink, the width of the page if set to default is very narrow (I like this), but I cannot get that same narrow width when accessing the exact same page via the link on the main menu set in the widgets area.

Any page set via the widgets area does not honour the settings in the Template section of the page Attributes settings when editing the page. Example: Default / Medium-width / full-width.

How to I get the pages to honour the setting in the page attributes rather than what seems to be a static value set for all custom empathy pages.

    TIA

Although the main page links don’t honour the template attributes, I’ve used the bootstrap grid to provide the spacing I want for the main pages.

It’s definitely won’t be a solution for everyone, because if I use the permalink to go to the page, it is now too narrow.

That being said, it works fine for this site, so with a little more layout effort, this issue is resolved for this site.

Figured I’d post my solution for anyone else that may end up here with the same issue.

    Hi,
If you provide me the related urls, I will try to find out new solutions.
    Thanks
