Bug. An image as a link

I love ReadMe. Thank you! But I have this problem:

I want to place a banner leading to my crowdfunding platform but if I add a link to the banner (or to any image) and then you hover over it, you can’t click through.

There’s just this magnifying glass to enlarge the image.

Can you fix it please? :)

    Thx a lot.

    Hi,
Could you please provide me your related url?
    Thanks

    For example here: http://iwrite.cz/esc-1-pro-kocku/
Banner at the end of a page.

(I don’t have the latest version of ReadMe right now. But even when I updated, it was like this.)

    Hi,
Could you please more clear about the issue ? I could not detect which part ahs the problem. Also deactivate all your plugin and try it again.
    Thanks

There is an orange banner “Become a patron” at the end of a page http://iwrite.cz/esc-1-pro-kocku/. I need it to be clickable so you can get through it to the page http://www.patreon.com/iwrite where my crowdfunding campaign is.

But if you add a link to an image in ReadMe theme like I did to this banner, it’s not clickable. If you hover over it there is a magnifying glass and clicking doesn’t lead anywhere, it just enlarges the banner.

    Is it clearer? :)

Deactivating all my plug-ins didn’t help.

    Hi,
Edit the image and you will see the display settings. Choose link to custom url and write your url here and hit the save button.
    Thanks

That’s exactly how I did this.

You can even see the link at the bottom of the browser when you hover the banner.

But instead of a hand to click it
    there appears a magnifying glass.

It looks like two functions: link and thumbnail has mixed up. I choose “link to custom url” but what I get is “thumbnail”.

    Hi,
You are using very old version on the readme theme. Please update your theme. Go to your account and download the latest version of the theme. You can read the documentation if you don’t know how to update it.
    Thanks
