Cannot find social in menu

    Hi,
    I have purchased the empathy theme.

    1. I am trying to set social icons in the left corner in menu. I cannot find them.

    2. I want to show up social icons in my blog posts pages like twitter. If everyone wants to make a tweet my blogpost for example.

    Hi elefher,

    1) Please go to appearance > widgets > footer social icons > drag and drop the text widget and paste the social icons shortcodes.

    [social_icon type="linkedin" url="#"]
    [social_icon last_icon="yes" type="instagram" url="#"]

    2) You can try to use a social share plugin for this feature. For example; easy social share plugin.

    – Same problem here. In Customizing / Widgets / Social Icons /
    1/ I deleted all social icons apart from Linkedin. It then becomes a dot.
    2/ So i copied and pasted the shortcodes of the other social media icons, and they reappeared.. including the linkdin icon with the same code…

    Any advice?

    – Other problem is when I add my link to the linkedin shortcode, (I replaced the # with my link), the link redirects to “The page you are looking for was not found!”

    Any advice?

    Hi,
    The icon shortcode should include first and last icon so if you don’t add first and last icon shortcode like above the code then it won’t display.
