For some reasons, I am finding it strange that after sending a test message using the contact form (drdhodz.com/#/contact), I only get this ‘forever-loading’ green circle without actually sending the test message.
Can you please help take a look what’s the problem on this page?
Hi Santiago,
Can you deactivate all your plugin and try it again ? Your host may have disabled the mail() function. It must be enabled on your server. Please contact your hosting company.
Thanks
It used to work on the same host so I believe that the mail() is working. I just realised it now while doing some tests.
I have disabled my plugins and still message can’t be sent.
I have also Mymail installed on the site that uses PHPs mail() function as delivery method and it actually works when I try sending a test message. I also tried Ninja forms but the message also doesn’t get sent.
Please let me know what else you can think of. Thank you.
Hi Sherkan,
I’ve shifted back to Contact Form 7 and it now works well, not a miss!
I am not sure though what’s the issue why the default contact form doesn’t work.
Please let me know if you want to troubleshoot further but I think I am now happy with this.
Cheers,
Santiago
Hi Santiago,
It’s not a general mistake, it’s unique to you, so if contact form plugin works for you then we can leave it to the edge. If you encounter problems again, please let us know.
Thanks for the feedback.
