Menu

Hi folks. I’m trying to edit the menu on the WORK page, but I just don’t get it. (I read the documentation on Portfolio.)
    So…
1st – the menu contains ALL of the pages in the template – all versions of the home page. I got rid of all the home page versions I didn’t want there by making all but the one I’m currently using PRIVATE. Is that the right way to do that?
2nd – I went to Appearance –> Menus and I don’t understand the interface. I’m on the Edit Menus tab, where it says “Edit your menu below”, however, below, there is only the menu “Custom Menu”. Is that the name of the default menu? And, if it is, then why aren’t the items listed in the order they appear on the WORK page?
3rd – I don’t want a link to the WORK page on the WORK page (or a link to the HOME page on the HOME page, etc.) Can I create a separate menu for every page, or does the menu apply to all the pages by default? Or is there a setting I can set that excludes the page link of the page that is currently displayed?
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,
Go to appearance > menus > choose theme navigation menu and set your menu items from here.
I would recommend you to check this related url. You should drag and drop menu items.

If you do not want to link to that menu, create a custom menu and put the hashtag tag (#) in the url part.
    Thanks
