Are the photos automatically imported from the demo supposed to be different from the original?
For example, I see a male picture for “about me” block, and there is no main background picture ..http://www.curiousandsavvy.com/
also where do i change the photos of the pin on the map?

You can download the photos from our demo website as well.

We updated the featured images and don’t worry you will use your own images so it should not be big deal.Pin images come via shortcode.

“Adventurer” column has extra spacing, and i’m not sure where this is coming from.

Please go to appearance > customize > site identity > upload header background image and save it.
Pin’s image comes from the URL which is inside the shortcode. You should edit the pin image via photoshop and save it.
I checked your resume page and it looks normal. Could you explain to me what is your issue with the resume page?
