Make Footer Subscribe Fields consistent.

    I have managed to add some code so I have both “first name” and “email” fields. Name has a faint box around it which I like and “first name” is justified left. Email has a barely visible colour differentiation which is pretty difficult to see and “your email address is centered”. I would like to:

    1. Center the text in both fields.

    2. Have an outline and a shift in background colour that makes them easier too see on both fields.

    3. Have all text in every area of the footer be the same colour as the text in “Stay Updated” so it is easier to read.

    Can you help?

    Will send URL privately by email if you can provide an address. Thank you!! …d

    So sorry Serkan! I will pop over and take it off right now.

    As an aside, the login to this TheBlogger is giving me a warning each time I log in that the login is not secure.

    Thanks! …d

    Hi,
    You can use these custom css codes;
    1=)

    input.input-text { text-align: center; }

    2=)

    .input-text, textarea, select { border: 2px solid #fff; }
    .is-footer-subscribe-dark .footer-subscribe input[type="email"] {
     border: 2px solid #fff !important; padding: 13px !important; }

    3=)

    .is-footer-subscribe-dark .footer-subscribe label:not(.error) { color: #fff; }

    Thanks

    Hi Serkan.

    Thanks for the code. It partially helped.

    To simplify finalizing it, can you help me make the “first name” field and the “email” field exactly the same based on the format of the email field… meaning no border at all and just the lighter shaded background?

    The other code with the white border makes the sign up button appear out of alignment because it is not the same size.

    Again, I am getting a warning logging into this page that it is not secure.

    Thanks! …d

    Hi,

    input.input-text { color: #fff !important; background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.04) !important; border: none; }
    input[type=submit] {  padding: 16px 26px; }

    Could you please send me the error about security issue?
    Thanks

    Thanks!! We are one step closer. Hopefully these will be the final elements:

    1. The height and width of field area for the “Name” section is smaller than for the email section. Can they be made the same so the form looks balanced?

    2. Have the spaces between Name, Email, Sign Up fields be the same. Again, so the form looks balanced.

    3. From my original query: Have all text in every area of the footer be the same colour/brightness as the text in “Stay Updated” so it is easier to read.

    Re: Login. I will made a different topic.

    Thanks for all your help on this! …d

    Hi,
    You can use these custom css codes but I couldn’t change the input text color because it comes from the background. Need to change many things first. Will let you know.

    @media screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .input-text, select, .uploader, .selector { width: 290px !important; padding: 1.2em !important; } }

    .is-footer-subscribe-dark .footer-subscribe input[type=submit] { margin: 0 1.4em; }

    .is-footer-subscribe-dark .footer-subscribe label:not(.error) { color: #fff; }

    Thanks

    This is becoming much more complicated than I anticipated. I apologize.

    I did not realize that the new code is messing with the sign-up form in the sidebar… which was absolutely perfect before. I have removed all the code and the format has gone back to what it was but the red, white and blue border has reappeared and I do not want that.

    Back to the drawing board for the footer. Is there a way that the changes between the sidebar and the footer can be unlinked? I am at a loss for what to do. Suggestions?

    Thank you! …d

    Hi,
    When you add this css class befor the codes then it will only effect the footer not the sidebar.
    .is-footer-subscribe-dark .footer-subscribe

    Hi Serkan.

    It is still not working. The sidebar is being impacted in that the fields are extending out on the right by the code that is making the fields in the footer consistent. I have now left only the code in custom css that is NOT impacting the sidebar at this point but the footer is still messed up.

    The sidebar form still has the red, white and blue lines that did not used to be there and I would like to remove again.

    Is there a way that we can either get on a call and address this together or that you can have access and make the changes in real time so you can see what is happening with each new piece of code? I feel like we are going around in really unproductive circles and apologize if I am not describing things clearly enough and that I do not have any coding skills.

    We have been working on this for over two weeks now. I do not want to keep wasting your or my time on this. I must admit that it has become rather frustrating that the site must be live as we muddle around compounding the issues.

    Thanks for your assistance on this… I really do appreciate your help. …d
