I read the documentation and it doesn’t seem to reflect what is actually in wordpress.

All I want to do is make the page appear like the demo in two senses.

One: I can easily create pages but I can’t get them to show up in left side bar like your demo. All I want is for About, Education, Interests, and Contact to be displayed, but no luck. No matter what I do.

Two: In your demo you have a small image in upper left hand corner as well as a background images on home page. I want to have both of those and there is no way to do that.

Please help. This shouldn’t take too long to complete. Just give me the steps for one and two. Thank you.
