home page slider

    Hello,

    I’m trying to make a home page slider like in the Editor demo.

    I don’t know why–it doesn’t show anything at all on the home page. I activated the main slider in theme options, made three posts set to sticky, added featured images, and ran the thumbnail re-generator.

    Set to:
    Yes, sticky posts to blog
    Slides: latest posts
    Slides count: 6

    Is there a step I missed? Should it just show up on the home page? Need a short code?

    Wait–it does show up–but on the posts page. Why would that be? I have a static home page selected and my blog page for posts.

    Hi Paul,
    The slider is not working with the static homepage. Maybe you can run alternative slider plugin for the static page.
