Text Font Size In Main Slider

    Hi there,

I’m struggling to adjust the text size in my slider to show my most recent blog posts.
The problem was that on my mobile the “read more” sign was overlapping with the “oooo” (the navigation through the slider).

I tried to adjust the size of the text, but couldn’t find the perfect ratio for mobile vs desktop. I then tried to use custom CCS through other topics here on the forum to adjust the size on my phone, while leaving the size on my desktop the same.

Now I’ve got the problem that my phone size is set on 2 ( I believe. It’s super small and I tried to use 2 to experiment to see what really changes). I am unable to return this to the normal size.

Do you guys have any tips on how to set this back to a normal size? I’ve tried the CCS code and change the letter size but for some reason it doesn’t pick up on it.

Also any tips on how to make sure the blog title in the slider doesn’t overlap with the navigation (oooo) of the slider?

    Hi Mick,
You have a long title. So you have to keep this font a little small. Font size change and ratio adjustments can all be set via the customizer. Appearance > customize > featured area > slider > adjust title text ratio
Extra wide ratio should be enough for your website. Dashboard > widgets > blog featured area > main slider > ratio
If the changes you make are not affected, there is a cache plugin. Clear the cache from the browser and try again.
    Thank you

    Hi Serkan,

I adjusted both of them and it turned out exactly as I wanted. Don’t really understand what I did different, except from adjusting the ratio from wide to extra wide – maybe that made the difference.

Thanks for your support out here as always. Appreciate it.

    Kind regards,
    Mick

You’re welcome, please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.

    Hi,

I’m struggling on WordPress to change differently the size title text of the slider on Desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
I set a correct title text ratio for the desktop but when I switch on tablet and tablet the size of the title becomes too small on tablet and smartphone.

Do you guys have any tips to fix this issue (for me) ? :)

    Many thanks,

    Hi,
If you are using the slider feature with elementor, when you edit the slider, if you press the desktop icon, you will be able to see mobile and tablet fonts. If you want, share your wp admin information with me in the private content box below and I will send you a screenshot.
    Thank you

    Hi Serkan,

Unfortunately, I can’t share my credentials because I testing the theme on my laptop. I imported the default demo and I used the customizer to change the text title size. By the way, I can see another way to use Elementor to edit the home page. I’m only stuck with the customizer. I don’t have any Elementor icon to edit it. Is that normal?
    Many thanks

The issue disappears when you set to “Fixed” the Featured Area Width in Featured Area -> General.
With the settings set to “Full” and “Full with margin” the title becomes disproportionate :)

    Hi,
You can customise many things on the Customizer. But if you want to use elementor, you can open the page you want to edit with elementer and edit the related widgets from the panel on the left. I hope it does make sense.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for your quick answer :). Just for information, I’m using the theblogger default template but I don’t see the homepage name in WordPress -> Pages to edit it with elementor for instance but I can still edit it with the customizer.
Can you help me please ?
    Many thanks

    Hi,
The screen I’m talking about is the screen on your desktop. I mean the screen on the left when you log in with your WP admin information.
    Thanks
