Is there a way to hide the main footer (the one with 3 or 4 colours)? I deleted all widgets but they come back after a few days…

If you are using recovery or cache plugin, that is why they came back. If you don’t add any widget to the footer, it won’t be displayed. Please deactivate all your third-party plugins and try it again.
