Can't add content or custom menu to homepage

    Hi dudes,

    I have the homepage successfully set up as a Homepage landing with fades.

    First, I’d like to add a custom menu to it, like here: http://themes.themegoods.com/photography/demo1/

    Followed all the setup instructions – created some pages, then a custom menu and set it as the theme navigation menu. Nothing. Added some meta stuff in Theme options. Nothing. It does however show in the Portfolio page.

    Then, I’d like to add content over the fades, like here: http://themes.pixelwars.org/photographer/home-landing-fades/

    Despite this not being explained in the manual, I figured this would just be a matter of adding some content to the page body. False. This adds it to the page but it ends up being hidden.

    Please advise!

    Hi Rudolf,
    Adding a menu to the home landing with fades pages is not possible by default. Because we made it this way.
    If you would like to add content like in the demo website, you can do it via intro shortcode which is also explained in the documentation. You can use these shortcodes in that custom homepage.
