Trouble Using Existing Templates For Single Use Posts

    Hi there I’m having trouble figuring how I would edit an existing single post demo item ‘overlay with full margins’ so that I can just edit the template and add in my blog and photos..

    I am trying to create a new menu tab and use this style to blog but can’t figure out how to apply it. When I try to add text to the page via the dashboard all I get is just normal text on the page, not the layout outlined in the single post example.

    Hi,
    When you edit your post, there is a post style box on the right hand side of the post. Choose overlay with full margins style, add a featured image for the post. So it will look like this ;

    I can’t find what you are talking about.

    All I have is my PAGE ATTRIBUTES box with parent tab, template tab (which only has default, medium portfolio, latest and full width)

    Underneath that it is my feautred image, then gallery type, featured area and side bar.

    Cannot find Post Style box

    Hi, On the menu screen click on the screen options button on the upper right corner of the screen. This will open a fly down menu where you need to check the related post style box.
    Thanks

    So I’ve done that and I don’t have an option to choose the template design I would like to edit to make my one.

    Please advise

    Hi, did you activate the blogger shortcode plugin as well?
    If you still have the issue, send me your wp admin details via our contact form and add this topic url as well.
    Thanks
