Amends in Customiser not showing up when pages are published

    Heya, have a couple of issues linked to my site https://youare-herenow.com hosted on WordPress and using The Blogger theme.

    I created a page using the Elementor plugin, and though I used my theme’s Customiser to get rid of the header (CSS), search field etc, these changes only show when I preview the page in the customiser with my hero image starting at the top of the screen as desired.

    But when published, the page overrides the instructions with all the header info in view (see URL below)… this happens with all the pages I created with Elementor (though I only need one published atm), as well as ones published through Leadpages.

    Is there a workaround?

    Thanks

    Hi, you can remove the header area in all pages via this custom CSS code;

    .site-header .header-wrap { display: none !important; }

    Also, there should be an option to remove header in the elementor. If there is an issue with that plugin, we can ask plugin’s author as well.
    Thanks

    Hiya thanks.

    Yeah that hasn’t worked. when I added that css from within the customiser, as mentioned it removed the header, but then when i go to the published page, the header re-appears.

    I changed to a default theme as you advised in my other query, this has gotten rid of the site title and search bar, but the header is still visible. But now i’m not able to customize the page in the customiser – when it loads it keeps loading the homepage instead.

    And cant find anywhere within Elememtor to remove the header.

    is there somewhere where i should be adding this code from within wordpress as opposed to from within the customiser?

    thanks

    Hi,
    https://elementor.com/header-footer-builder/
    You can check out this related url. Elementor plugin allows you to customize your header. So you don’t need to use css code for this as well. So are you trying to remove the header in some pages right?
    Thanks
