Hello,
I just recently downloaded The Blogger theme and I don’t see an option to add items under the post preview on the main page.
Is there a way to do this?

You can run the one click demo import plugin and upload the dummy data, so you can easily edit it. If you can not make any part, please contact us and I am happy to help you. I did not understand what you could not do exactly. I will be happy if you be more descriptive.

They are using shop the post widget which is third-party plugin to have such a feature.
You can do it without custom plugins. In any post, click to add media button then create a gallery. You can upload your custom images and choose thumbnail size and give custom url for each image.
