Open images in galleries within posts

    Hi,

    I am not using Portfolios just creating regular posts.

    When I edit a regular post and add a ‘gallery’ I can display multiple images in a lightbox. I want visitors to be able to click on the images and and view them as in a normal gallery. Is there a shortcode or CSS way to enable to that?

    The Documentation mentions:

    ” Create a gallery from “Add Media” button. Make your gallery a slider from “Gallery Type” box. ”

    I see no Gallery type anywhere.

    … let me rephrase the above, not looking to open up a proper gallery.

    I just would like to be able to click on the images and then they open up individually.

    Images in the gallery are often too small to ‘enjoy’ so it’d be great if users could click to view them in a larger size.

    Further to the above, the ‘Link to media file’ does open it up but there is no back button or a convenient way to navigate back – so that’s not the best solution.

    Anyone has other ideas?

    Hi Dundy,
    Open a regular post, click to add media button then click to create a gallery button. Upload your images, choose link to media file and size medium and click to insert gallery button and save it.
