home page and elementor

So i’m trying to edit the homepage with elementor and it doesn’t show up in pages. Then i tried using the side menu features to edit it (change the feautured area etc) but that did not actually adjust it properly. And I can’t find the things I want to change in that area. It is not specific enough.
And when I change the page to a static homepage instead to use elementor, the “homepage” design does not exist anywhere. I can’t find it under pages and neither could bluehost.
I looked up this forum to see if it had already been addressed and it does not seem to have based on my search.

    So
    1. how do I edit your demo using elementor?
    2. How do I find the homepage when it is not static

    Hi,
You need to contact your hosting provider about increasing the allocated memory size for your site. This is an issue related to your server, meaning your site has required 125mb of memory but your server provided less of memory.
Normally, you should go to pages > edit your page and you will see an edit with elementor button. This should allow you to customize the website easily.
    Thanks

Sorry, no that’s not the issue. I already had bluehost do this. The “edit with elementor” shows up on every page but the actual home page (whether static or not) does not show up on pages. WHen I go to customize it is there, but not on the pages, which means editing that with elementor is not possible (when i view it through customize/view site- the edit with elementor button is not there). The bluehost people (when they increased the space) said they do not even see a “front page” on their backend. But it is showing on visually. I just can’t edit it with elementor. And it doesn’t seem to show on pages (on either the static or blog style setting).

    Hi,
Have you imported the dummy data via one click demo import plugin.
You can create a new homepage or you can use home alternate page. The static page cannot customize of course. If you want to get custom page, you need to create a fresh homepage and build it. Then you need to go to settings > reading > your homepage display > choose blog page and home page and save it.
