Child Theme Style 3

    Hi,

    I would like to activate the template demo 03 but once the child theme style 3 is active the template loses all settings and appears like demo 01.
    How can I correctly activate the demo 03 with child theme?

    Hi,
    I just tested it with our demo website. When I uploaded the child demo 03, it keeps the style for demo 3 not demo 01. Could you please deactivate all your third party plugins, clear the cache and try it again.

    Hi,
    You should also upload the parent theme first then child theme.
    If you don’t want to customize the theme then you don’t need to upload the child theme. Parent theme should be enough.

    Hi,
    If you want to change the label, you can use loco translate plugin. If you would like to customize the whole form layout, then you can use contact form 7 or ninjaform plugin instead of the default contact form.

    I am having the same issue. I installed the parent theme, then installed Child Theme 3 (preferred style), and nothing changes when activated. It stays as parent theme.

    I’ve deactivated all plugins and cleared cache to no avail.

    Please let me know what else I can do. Thanks!

    Hi, I have the same problem. I think he confusion comes because in the live demos webpage (http://themes.pixelwars.org/lahanna/) there are 3 demos, and we think they are child themes, when they are not.

    I would like to configure my website just as demo number 3. How should I do it? Should I use child theme 3 and then import the demo files? How can demo files be imported?

    Hi Pau,
    You can upload the parent theme first then you can upload the child theme later. You can find it in the theme folder.
    If you are going to make serious changes to the main files, the child theme must be active. But you don’t need to install a child theme for minor changes.
