Portfolio password design

    Hi,

    It seems the way that the portfolio password protection mechanism was designed is that, once you enter the correct password, it reloads the page and takes you to the home screen. I feel like this is a bad user experience. If you are trying to access the portfolio page, and you enter the password correctly, it should reload on the portfolio page, not the home screen. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi. Thank you so much. I appreciate your help. This is one of the main things I am waiting on before launching my portfolio site. It would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

    Hi, I sent a reminder message to our wordpress developer.
    He works endlessly to add a new feature every day.
    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi, in order to use password protected portfolio posts you need to disable the ajax functionality for the portfolio posts from Customizer > General > Ajax: No.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks, this worked.

    However, one other issue: the box that prompts you to enter the password is all the way on the left of the page. Is there a way to center it?

    Also, is there a way to password protect the entire portfolio? So basically, when you enter the password once, you can then access all of the items in the portfolio? Right now, you have to enter the password for each and every item, which is painful.

    Hi,
    You can use this custom css code;

    .post-password-required form { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

    I understand your second request, but WordPress is now functioning this way. We don’t have anything to do by default.
    Thanks
