Dear Pixelwars,
To my surprise, I can’t seem to justify the text in my blog posts, and I really need to! According to an earlier thread, there should be a justify text button on the editor, but there isn’t. (left, right centre options are all there, but not the one I need).

I’m on version 1.9.6 which according to my info is the latest version.
how can I fix this?

This message from the wordpress moderator;
“If you’re referring to text justification, that feels like an area that a plugin should extend. Justified text manipulates the text in a manner which may not be good for readability, and while there may be some use cases for this, I’d suspect they do not fall within the likehood of being a majority requirement.”
