Hello,
I had a photo wall for my front page that worked perfectly until I added Portfolios. Then the below short codes started to give an error on the front page and the image came from the portfolios and no longer from a set list of IDs.How can I select what photos appear on the front page Photowall ?

Photo wall fetches images randomly from portfolio posts, If you want to show some pre-chosen images on your photo wall, you can add a gallery to your homepage and add the images you want to show on photo wall. It is not possible to select photos only from the specific department. If you don’t add the photo wall short code, Your images will come from the gallery which you inserted in the page. If you have the photo wall short code, photos will come from portfolio. You can choose the photos you want to show by creating a gallery inside the home page.
If you are not using the short code so you should create a gallery in your homepage and upload your pictures there.
You should have about 40 pics minimum. So I would recommend you to use alternate homepage or other ones unless you have enough pictures then you can try to use photo wall homepage.
You have a redundantpreelement wrapping your shortcodes, navigate to “Text” tab of your content editor and remove thatpreelement and it should be fine.You’re welcome, please don’t forget to rate the theme on themeforest if you liked it, thanks.
I tried Using this method.. i am little confused here.. i created new page named “New Home”.. Inserted Gallery and added photos which i wanted to display on photowall .. selected Template as “Homepage with landing photowall”..after that do i need to add any shortcodes or not?
i want same homepage as yours “Homepage with landing photowall” just with selected images not random from Media ..!! With Rorartion of title and images also..
