I am using the Debra Wilson theme.
I am unable to edit my blog page – is there a way for me to remove the sidebar and add a footer?
Also the READ More button is only showing up on some posts.

If you want to remove the sidebar, you should edit the blog page and choose no sidebar. Please see the screenshot below;

You need to drag and drop widgets to the footer area.

If you go to appearance > customize > blog > you need to decrease the length of excerpt area.

The setting “no sidebar” is selected. I am still seeing a blank space instead of the content using the full screen.I do understand I how to use the widgets, was hoping to be able to apply a footer only to the blog page and blog posts. Editing the footer adds it too all pages.

I just cleared your cache and gap in the blog was gone.
This custom css code will remove the footer from everywhere and it will keep the footer in the blog and post pages;.page:not(.blog) .site-footer, .page:not(.post) .site-footer { display: none; }Thanks
