Hi,
I recently purchased the Efor theme for my site – megjames.yoga
I’m having some problems with some super minor settings and can’t seem to figure out how to make the following changes:
– How do I change the highlight color? (When you highlight text on a page it’s bright yellow but I can’t seem to see a setting to change this)
– On the blog page, I can’t see where to change the ‘About Me’ image and information. I started with the Debra Wilson demo pages, so it has her picture and Abot Me info there
– Can someone confirm what the default font is in the menu? When I look at the standard Heading Font is says ‘now’ but that doesn’t actually seem to be a font I can select for text on pages or the other headings on page, so my fonts don’t seem to match.I think that’s it for now! If someone can point me in the right direction to fix these things that would be awesome.
Otherwise, thanks so much for an awesome theme!
Hi,
You can use this custom css code; (just change the color codes)::selection { color: #000; background: #FFF9CD; }You need to go to about me page and edit it with elementor. You will be able to edit it.
We are using “now” font for the menu. I also checked your font and it is the same like ours.
ThanksHi Serkan,
Thanks for this! I’ve managed to change the highlight color and the About Me photo. Thanks a lot!
The menu font is using ‘NOW’, but I’d also like to use that for the headings on different pages across the site. Except when i go to select a font, it doesn’t have now as an option.
Can you please advise what I need to do there?
Also, how do I remove the shopping cart/bag icon from the header?
Thanks again!!
Hi,
Please go to appearance > customize > general > fonts > you can choose the heading font and subheading font family over here.
And, go to dashboard > plugins > deactivate WooCommerce plugin. The chart icon will remove from the header.
ThanksAhh gotcha, deactivate WooCommerce. Thanks so much! That worked a treat :)
Sorry one last question, I’m using the Instagram widget in the footer of my site however this has it displaying across every single page on the website.
Is there a way to exclude it from certain pages?
Hi,
Yes we can. You can provide me the related url and we can add custom css code for that certain page.
ThanksHi Serkan,
We’d like to remove the Instagram Feed:
https://megjames.yoga/heartcenter/
https://megjames.yoga/heart-center-members/
and the blog pages. Also, something weird has happened to the theme overnight. I’m not sure if something updated but you’ll see it if you check the site.
On all of the pages, the fonts are all messed up and displaying incorrectly. My menu font is set to NOW but it’s not displaying correctly.
I also wanted a custom font on my H1 headings and have it set to Lemon Milk (I uploaded via the custom font uploader in Elementor) but they’re displaying something else.
This seems to be on ALL pages except the blog.
Can you suggest what might be wrong there and how I can fix it?
Hi,
You can use this custom css code for removing the instagram on those pages;.page-id-1170 .footer-insta, .page-id-4160 .footer-insta { display: none; }.single-post .footer-instaIf you want to add the blog post pages, you can add this code after comma.
I just checked your font on the menu via extension, it looks okay on my side. Please see the screenshot below;

If you still have the issue, deactivate your third party plugins and try it again.
ThanksHi Serkan,
Thanks for this, I figured out the fonts. It was the SSL blocking them but that’s fixed now.
I’ve pasted that code into the Additional CSS bit and it removed it from this page:
https://megjames.yoga/heart-center-members/
But when i go to add it on the other pages I want to remove the Instagram feed from, it still appears.
Do I need to change the Page ID or something for each page? I’m not sure how to do that, can you explain further?
Hi, I want to clarify the subject of Footer instagram. Can you tell me where you want to use instead of removing it one by one?
Hi Serkan,
Great thinking! Yeah we really just want it on the home page and the about page actually.
Every other page doesn’t need it.
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I will forward this topic to our developer and i will keep you updated as soon as possible.
Thanks for your patience. Will you take a look at my site on the blog page? The about me image is not center and the widget content is not spaced enough.
Hi,
Is the “meet me” page your about me page? If it is yes then, could you take a screenshot of the issue on your side please because it looks okay?
