On Debra Wison there are share buttons at the top of the blog posts, just below the title. I would like to know where they come from (is it a plug in?) I’d like to be able to edit what is shared.

It is not a plugin. If you want to remove one of the social media, we can remove it with css code but further customization is not possible by default. You can disable that feature and use a plugin instead of default share feature.
If you want to remove the whole share button, please go to dashboard > appearance > customize > single post > share links > choose no and save it.
