Can't edit Homepage, Elementor issue: "call the content"

When picking the home page template for any page and then trying to edit it with Elementor I get a pop up saying that the “call the content function” isn’t working.

And I have contacted my host (one.com) who ensured me that I meet the minimum requirements; https://imgbox.com/HedG14xb

Hi adamkawalec,
You shouldn’t try to edit Home in Elementor, the parts on the homepage come from Appearance > Customize > Site Identity and Homepage Settings sections.
If you have the same issue with other pages, provide me your wp admin details via our private content box below.

Hi,
We have three demo layout for ikonik theme. But homepage and portfolio pages are separate. It is not possible by default to mixed them.
