style category pages?

    Hi, I’d like to provide some basic styling for category pages (assign sidebar, specify the number of rows/columns of posts etc) but not sure how to do that. Currently I’m adding HTML via settings>reading>category, but the text appears on the page with margins, and no way to add a sidebar or to change how the posts are displayed. Can you help?

    Hi,
    Please go to appearance > customize > sidebar > activate sidebar for archive pages.
    Appearance > customize > blog > category archive > you can change the style as well.
