Hi there, I’ve got a problem with importing of the demo themes.
When I follow a one click import for the parent theme – I get a blank page with a menu on top and a footer a the bottom. All media is in the media library… It is reported that everything is imported correctly (see attached log).
I’ve tried several times and there was no positive result.
kindly explain how to resolve this issue.
Hi @Yaroslav
Could you provide me your wp admin details via our private content box below?
ThanksHi, because I need the site to be live (I use it for payments gateway), I am making all the changes on the the duplicate on the local host and then will upload the site to the webhost. How could we proceed in this case, please? If someone could guarantee me that the demo theme would be installed without any problems immediately (which is currently not a case), I would agree to update it on the live site.
I think I’ve found the issue – I have an AWS S3 connected so all the files I upload go there instead of the host. I will switch off the synchronization and will try to reinstall the demo. Will let you know about the outcome.
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Please keep me updated.
ThanksHi there, the problem is still there, even after disabling the S3 plugin. I have created a duplicate site on the main site server and installed a parent theme there. I would appreciate if you could have a look. details are in the private message.
Btw, I was trying to install the demo named Debra Wilson. Whatever I did, after the installation it gave me a white screen with a top menu.
Hi @Yaroslav
I just activated efor theme and activated the necessary plugins for the theme.
You have couple of demo content inside your website. I didn’t touch them. I didn’t import the demo content because you already have some content inside your website. When you run the one click demo import plugin once, you can choose the demo content and import it.
ThanksHi @serkan,
Thank you, I have installed the demo and it works like a charm. I see that you’ve deactivated some of previously installed plugins. One of them must have been causing the problem. Thanks again. Have a good day.
YaroslavYou are welcome :) We’d be very happy if you can spare a minute to rate the theme on ThemeForest. Your feedback will boost our motivation and help us to work harder on future updates.
