Hello,
I have some questions regarding theme customization. I originally started a blog with Child Style 3, but then realized I preferred the look of Style 4. I imported the new theme and activated it, but it looks nothing like the demo here – https://themes.pixelwars.org/lahanna/demo-04/. Looking at the style.css for demo-04 I see it doesn’t have as much code as demo-03 has.
The few reasons I want to switch to Style 4 is;
1. To have a finer border gap between the main slider and link box, as in the demo.
2. The addition of “share/recommend this/views” under each post.
3. I prefer the look of the “About Me” / “Trending Posts” simple text with line on each side vs. the speech box I currently have.
4. “About Me” widget picture is circle and not oval as I currently have.
Apart from these minor nuisances, I am very happy with your product and I look forward to having it customized and ready for launch! Thank you!
Hi,
I would recommend you to export your data and run the wp reset plugin once. It will remove all your contact and you can import the demo 4 layout easily. But you can also customize the website not.
You just need to go to dashboard > appearance > customize >featured area > general > grid space > you can decrease it.
Appearance > customize > single post > share link style
You should run the regenerate thumbnail plugin once and image issue will be fixed.

The only thing that seemed to work was the grid spacing. So I went ahead and did a reset of the site and then an import of the Lahanna #4 theme. I then used Tools>Import to populate back the blog data from the xml backup. This seemed to only import partial items into the blog. The Cooked Recipes for instance are missing crucial data (i.e ingredients, directions, recipe id). Looking into the xml backup, I see instances of all the data intact, but unable to import back into wordpress. Is this something you are able to help me with, or do I need to contact Cooked for help?

I’ve been struggling with trying to import the theme for a couple days now. I deleted everything from my domain and wordpress and started fresh. I can import the Lahanna theme and all the required plugins, but when I try to import the child theme #4, it hangs up and goes nowhere. I’ve done this before with success so I don’t know what is different now. I’ve followed all the instructions on importing child themes but can’t progress. Hi,
You don’t need to worry about that. Those notices just tell you that the logo did not import because you already installed a logo for the website.

Hi, I am new to the blogging world. I have purchased Lahanna and was hoping I would use lahanna Child theme -4 as my website format. I have been struggling terribly at customising the site as per my requirement. I have deleted and reinstalled the themes several times so that they function properly. Currently I imported child theme 4 and its shows all pages like the demo only I never published it but the webaddress is displaying the website as the whole demo.
I am no more able to figure it out myself. I need the help on following:
1) Get the child theme 4 installed without glitches completely.
2) Help with customising the demo version to the specifics to my site/idea- tutorial on how can I do that and :
3) Help with basics of theme installation and editing on wp (based on theme, not the coding).
