"Simple steps" – support

    Hello,

    I am creating a new topic for an issue I had raised in another discussion. The Simple steps section does not appear properly, either in the “home” page or the “start here” page.

    I added the section through the Elementor library as it was advised, but again it appears only with the first, introduction part of the section “Simple steps to success”, followed by the “contact” button. The actual four steps that appear in the demo (I am using Stefan Hughes) do not appear at all.

    Could you please have a look and help me sort it out?

    I am adding the website and log in details in the private content section.

    Hi,
    I just checked your website and you forgot the activate the pixelwars shortcode. I would recommend you to install a fresh copy of the theme.
    Wp reset plugin will help you to do it.
    You can export your data and I can also help you.

    Thanks for this, I did the reset and I now have a clean WP. I also created a snapshot.

    How can I activate the pixel wars shortcode before I install the theme?

    I tried to login your website and it says ” The username or password you entered is incorrect.”

    Sorry for that, apparently when i reset, all additional user accounts were deleted. I am adding the login details in the private content.

    Hi, We could not communicate with you in any way =) Currently, I cannot access plugins or any other folders due to my limited privileges. Temporarily provide me authorization. When we fix the problem, you delete the username. We do not archive anyone’s information such as username and password.

    Hi, you had editor rights and just change to admin rights – let me know if this is what you need.

    Also, I am not sure what you mean about not being able to communicate with me – isn’t it this forum the way to communicate for support? I got this response almost 3.5 days after my previous message.

    I could not import the demo data via one click demo import plugin, it might be because of the size of the allocated resources for your site. Just be sure that you increased the upload limit at least to 128mb. Please note that increasing the hosting limits doesn’t guarantee you will get those resources all the time, you may get lower resources allocated for your site depending on the traffic on shared hosts.

    Hi, I tried and couldn’t login with the credentials you have provided just now;

    “ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?”

    Hi, 1-Click Demo import couldn’t import the demo somehow so I had to import the demo manually, yet some featured images didn’t get uploaded but you will already replace them, you can now start editing your pages.

    Thanks for this. Before I did the theme reset two weeks ago I created a snapshot. I compared it the current version data and there are some differences. I wanted to ask:

    1. If I restore the snapshot data, will I loose the functionalities I have now after the demo import (e.g. the Simple steps)?
    2. In this case, will I be able to reverse the action and go back to the current version?

    1-) yes you may lose the new functionality and return to the previous state.

    2-) I am not sure how your hosting snapshot service work so I can’t say anything about this.
