Hi there,
I’m just after the exact sizes of where the featured image on blog posts shows up, and how to make sure each one is custom to that place.
For example, the home page thumbnail vs the single post image.
Also, the blog post featured image is not showing up when I copy and paste the link on Facebook and other messaging apps. How can I fix this?

Instead of getting the featured image URL from another website, you can upload it to your own website. This way, there is no delay in uploading once in a while.I wish I could show you a screenshot. So:
1. I’m just after the featured image thumbnail sizes that show up on the home page, and the single post and how to add the appropriate size for each.
2. The featured image is not showing up when I paste the blog link on social or a messaging app.

You can try to use all in one seo or yoast seo plugin for the social media issue.

Yoast SEO has a similar feature in the page edit screen it allows you to upload a custom preview image for social media;

I already had all in one seo and was not working with that. I removed all in one seo, and tried Yoast SEO.
It still didnt fix the issue but I just got over it.
Everything was still working fine after this but now… I have another problem. A bigger problem…
The site looks broken.
I deleted Yoast and still nothing changed.
I deactivated all plugins and turned them back on, still looks the same.
Can you check this out asap?

You should go to pages > edit home page > there is template section on the right hand side > choose elementor full width and saved it.
