Shop and blog images

I am contacting you today for a concern regarding the shop page.
I can’t set the size of the image from the customizer.
i used the generate thumbnails plugin but it dosnt set the width & height i want from the media setting
So, I would like to know how I can change the size of the image and also know the optimal size to transfer to our graphic design team for the shop page (thumbnail).

Hi,
In our demo website, i will provide you the default size for the images in the shop page.
Intrinsic size: 768 × 807 px
Intrinsic aspect ratio: 256∶269

You can go to dashboard > appearance > customize > woocommerce > product images > you will able to customize the image size here.

Woocommerce: I need to change the size of for the default image.

Tried:
dashboard > appearance > customize > woocommerce > product images >
set the size to 200 or 300.
It does it not change the image size. The image appears much larger.

I uploaded my own placeholder image and set it in:
woocommerce > products > placeholder image

Cleared the browser cache and WP cache.

I also tried switching from the child to the parent theme and no luck.
