horizontal lines width

hi,

i set this in the custom css field:

#main.wrapper > .row { max-width: 1080px; }

how do i get the horizontal lines ( http://www.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/screenvmg04e78yn.jpg ) at the top and bottom to match the 1080px?

GREAT! that worked :)
but the footer line and footer widget area is still of the 1080px.
what code do i need to change for those two?
