Elementor & Home Page Issues

I am having trouble with Elementor. Whenever I try to use it I get an error that says “Your site doesn’t have a default kit. It seems like your kit was deleted. Please create a new one or try to restore it from the trash.” At first I thought it was because I was missing the JetPlugin license key but once I got that from you and put it in, Elementor still isn’t working.

I have been trying to get the homepage working since I installed the theme and the Linda Cooper demo. The site was working fine. Then I tried editing the home page. I couldn’t find anywhere to edit it. I thought the Elementor editor was where I would need to change the background image and all of the wording. It’s not working so I’m not really sure. I just now tried to add a featured image to the page called “Home” and now my homepage on my website looks broken. Like I said, it was working before I did that. And now I can’t delete the featured image. I suppose I can delete that image from the Media folder. That still doesn’t get me the home page to edit. I think the demo might be missing the Post for Front Page.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,
I added a new homepage for you. You can find it in the pages section.
    Thanks

Thank you, the home page is fixed. Elementor still doesn’t work though. When I try to load it I get the error message “Your site doesn’t have a default kit. It seems like your kit was deleted. Please create a new one or try to restore it from the trash.”

I went into the tools for Elementor and clicked “Recreate Kit.” Looks like that happened successfully. Now when I try to open elementor I get the error “The preview could not be loaded. Service unavailable 503.”

I went to this website: https://elementor.com/academy/how-to-fix-the-preview-could-not-be-loaded-error-in-elementor/
And I got elementor working with their suggestion to open an incognito window with chrome. It worked! Elementor opened and I was able to edit my homepage. I changed the background picture and edited some of the words, clicked update, and went to view the live site and now it’s broken again. The shop page works, and the courses page works. But those don’t use Elementor. They use WooCommerce and LearnPress. It seems like all of the pages that use Elementor are now broken. They say “There has been a critical error on this website.”

I just tried updating my php to the latest version and it seems to be working again. Let’s hope it keeps it up this time. Hopefully my trouble can help someone else!
