How can I change texts such as text on buttons like “Add to cart”, also all text in shopping cart such as “Proceed to Checkout”, etc.
Is there a separate file somewhere for these texts?

Hi,
You can use loco translate plugin for this feature.
Go to dashboard > loco translate > plugins > woo commerce > choose your language and type the strings.
