Hi,
I’ve been using the Arkiz | Architecture WordPress Theme and noticed that the header is not editable. It currently displays the website name as plain text, and I haven’t found an option to replace it with a logo or add social media links.
Having a customizable header is important for branding and usability. Most modern WordPress themes allow users to upload a logo and include social media icons directly from the theme settings or customizer.
Could you please confirm if there’s a way to edit the header area in Arkiz? If not, is there a recommended workaround or upcoming update that would make this possible?
Thanks in advance for your support!
Hi,
Thank you for your patience.
✅ Great news: In the Arkiz | Architecture WordPress Theme, you can add and edit your social media icons easily without extra plugins.
How to add or edit your logo:
Go to:
Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
– Here, you can upload your logo to replace the plain text site title in your header. If the uploaded logo does not appear:
– Check if your theme’s demo import needs logo assignment.
– Save and refresh your homepage to see the changes reflected. How to add or edit social media icons:
Go to:
Appearance → Customize → Widgets → Header Social Media Icons– Here, you can:
Add, edit, or remove your social media icons.
Set the URLs for each social profile you wish to display in the header.
Once saved, these icons will appear in your header, allowing visitors to access your social channels easily while maintaining your branding.
Customize Header Using Elementor:
The Arkiz theme supports Elementor, enabling you to create or edit the header using Elementor’s visual interface if you wish for complete control. If you have Elementor Pro:
– Navigate to Templates → Theme Builder → Header.
– You can edit an existing header or create a new one with your logo, navigation menu, and social icons.
– Assign it to “Entire Site” to replace the default header globally. If you have Elementor Free:
– The theme may provide pre-built Elementor header sections within the imported demos. You can edit these by navigating to the page and clicking Edit with Elementor, where the header section may appear as part of the top section of your page.Best regards,
Serkan
