    Hi I would like to show sidebar under shop page and adding filters to it, but for some reason it’s not working, I would very much appriciate your advice.

    My Shop Page has set page settings:

    Featured Area

    Shop Featured Area
    – Add “Main Slider”, “Link Box” or “Intro” widgets to your featured area. You can add many widgets to a featured area.
    – Featured Area is a widget area like sidebars. So you can create new one from Appearance > Theme Options > Widget Areas.

    Sidebar

    Shop Sidebar
    – Sidebar is a widget area. You can find all available sidebars in your Widgets page under Appearance menu and Widgets section in Customizer.
    – You can create new sidebars from Appearance > Theme Options > Widget Areas.

    But I see only products

    My plan is to have filers in sidebar, so I can filter categories, colors etc and products will be displaying depenfing on filter,

    I stared creating another page https://29j.5f2.myftpupload.com/shop-2/ where I can see sidebar and products but sidebar is not connected for some reason

    Hi,

    Thank you for your patience.

    We’ve confirmed that the Shop Sidebar and widgets are configured correctly, however the sidebar is not being loaded at all on the main Shop page. This indicates that the issue is related to the Shop/archive template itself rather than widget settings.

    We’ve forwarded this case to our developer to review the WooCommerce shop layout and template behavior in detail. Once we receive feedback, we’ll get back to you with an update or a clear solution.

    Hi,

    We noticed that your hosting is provided by GoDaddy (GoDaddy menu is visible in your WP admin panel).

    Please update your PHP version to PHP 8.3 from your GoDaddy hosting panel by following these steps:

    – Log in to your GoDaddy account
    – Go to My Products → Hosting → Manage
    – Open Settings or Server / PHP Settings
    – Change the PHP version to 8.3
    – Save the changes

    After updating PHP:

    – Clear your website cache (if any)
    – Refresh the Shop page
    – Check again if the sidebar and product filters work correctly

    Once this is done, please let us know the result and we’ll continue checking the shop sidebar and filter configuration if needed.
