Hi,
I’d like to use the page templates from the Default Demo but I can’t find a solution. I downloaded the demo, and now I want to add the templates I need, page by page, directly from Elementor. But when I try to add a template from Elementor, no templates appear in my library.

Sorry for the trouble. The demo templates should appear in your Elementor library after a successful import — if they don’t, it means the demo import didn’t complete properly.
The best solution would be a clean reinstall of the demo. If you’d like, I can do this for you. Please:
1. Take a full backup of your site (the import will overwrite existing content)
2. Share your WordPress admin URL, username, and password
3. Confirm that I have permission to reset the site so the demo can be installed from scratchAlso, please make sure your hosting environment meets the theme’s system requirements:

1: I have indeed performed a complete backup of the site (although I haven’t put my content on it yet; I’m waiting until I can format the pages before inserting it).

Apologies for the delay, and thanks for your patience.
Before I proceed with the clean demo reinstallation, I checked your server’s PHP configuration and noticed two values that are below our recommended requirements — and they’re very likely the reason the original demo import didn’t complete properly:
– PHP time limit: currently 60 → recommended 300
– PHP memory limit: currently 384M → recommended 1024MThe demo import runs a fairly heavy script (importing pages, templates, media, widgets, etc.), and with only 60 seconds of execution time it typically gets cut off halfway — which is exactly why the Elementor templates never appeared in your library.
Could you please increase these two values before I start? You can usually do this from:
– Your hosting control panel (cPanel → MultiPHP INI Editor, or Plesk → PHP Settings)
– Or by asking your hosting provider directly if you don’t have access to those settingsOnce those are updated, just confirm here and I’ll run the clean reinstall right away. This should give us a successful import on the first try.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve changed my hosting plan to increase both values. My PHP time limit is now 300 seconds and my PHP memory limit is 1024 MB.

Thanks for updating your PHP values — I’ve just completed a clean reinstall of the demo on your site, and everything imported successfully this time. You should now see all the demo pages, posts, and media in your WordPress admin.
One quick clarification about Elementor templates: the demo content is built using our theme’s own page builder structure, so you won’t find pre-made templates inside the Elementor template library itself. The demo pages are already fully designed and ready — the easiest workflow is:
1. Go to Pages in your WordPress admin
2. Find the demo page whose layout you’d like to reuse (e.g. Home, About, Services, etc.)
3. Open it with Elementor
4. Click the folder icon at the bottom of the Elementor panel → Save as Template
5. Give it a name and saveFrom that point on, the page will appear in your personal Elementor template library (My Templates tab), and you can insert it into any new page with one click. This way you build your own reusable library from the demo pages you actually want to use, and you can safely customize each one without affecting the original.
If you’d like to duplicate a demo page instead (to keep the original intact while you edit a copy), you can use the free Duplicate Page plugin — let me know if you’d like instructions for that too.

Thank you for your help and explanations. Unfortunately, many pages are missing from the Pages section of my admin interface. For example, for the homepage, I only have the Home Alternate page… And there are also missing pages in the other sections. Could you please ensure that I have all the pages?

Since I desperately need to make progress, I tried a complete reinstallation of my website from my hosting provider, deleting all the old data and starting from scratch. But I’m having the exact same problem installing the demo (and i still have 300 sec PHP time limit and 1024 PHP memory limit). Namely, I only have a few pages (as described in the previous message). So, please, I really need your help so I can finally get to work. Please note, the access details for the website’s admin interface have been changed; I’m sending them to you privately.

Good news — I had a look at your site and the missing pages were actually already imported correctly. The issue was in the main menu: several of the menu items were pointing to incorrect URLs, which is why pages like the real Home (and a few others) appeared to be missing while only Home Alternate was showing up.
I’ve corrected the menu URLs and everything is now displaying as expected. Could you please check on your end and confirm that all the pages you were looking for are now accessible?

The demo is installed correctly, the different pages are visible, but I’m only able to edit, and therefore use, the pages in the “Pages” section of my admin interface. Could you resolve this so that I can actually access and edit all the pages of the demo?

The demo remains unusable because I can only modify a very limited number of pages and templates. I understand that the fact that my initial configuration wasn’t sufficient wasn’t your responsibility. But now that it is (which, incidentally, cost me money since I had to upgrade my hosting plan), I’m still stuck and haven’t been able to start formatting my website. And I really really need to get started… Could you please resolve this situation?

Thanks for your patience. I’ve checked your site again and I can confirm the demo is installed correctly — nothing is missing or broken.
The reason you only see a few items under Pages is that TheBlogger is a blog theme: only a small number of real pages (Home, About, Contact, etc.) live under Pages → All Pages. The main demo content — all the article and blog layouts — lives under Posts → All Posts. Both pages and posts are fully editable. The overall blog look is controlled from Appearance → Customize, not from individual pages.
This is the intended structure of the theme, not a fault with your import.

If there’s a specific demo layout you’re trying to recreate, tell me its exact name from the live demo and I’ll point you to where it is.
I’ve read the documentation, but I still don’t understand… In that case, let’s take the homepage and a specific demo layout I need to recreate. I only seem able to edit the Home Alternate. Regarding your two questions:
1. How to set the Home Blog Regular layout
This layout is not controlled from Pages or Elementor — it’s set directly from the Customizer. Here’s how:
1. Go to Appearance → Customize
2. Navigate to Blog (in the left panel)
3. Under the Blog section, find the layout dropdown and select Regular
4. Click PublishThat’s all — the homepage will immediately switch to the Regular layout you saw in the demo.
2. Can I edit these layouts with Elementor?
Unfortunately, no — and we should have made this clearer from the beginning, so we apologize for the confusion.
TheBlogger is a blog theme that controls its layout and appearance through the Customizer and theme settings, not through Elementor’s page builder. Elementor can be used to edit static pages (like an About or Contact page), but the homepage blog layout, post grid, slider, and category sections are all theme-controlled.
This means you won’t be able to drag-and-drop or freely redesign those sections from Elementor. What you can customize:
– Layout style (Regular, Grid, List, etc.) → Customizer → Blog
– Colors, fonts, header → Customizer → various sections
– Static pages (About, Contact) → Elementor, as usualWe’re sorry it took this long to get here. Let us know how you’d like to proceed.

Thank you for the clarification.
Following your recent explanations, I understand that the workflow for demos/pages isn’t as easily customizable with Elementor as I had hoped, contrary to what the product presentation and our previous discussions in this chat suggested.
Since the ability to modify and personalize imported demos with Elementor was one of the main reasons for my purchase, the product no longer meets my expectations.
Therefore, I will be requesting a refund through Envato.

Thanks for your honest feedback, and I’m sorry the workflow hasn’t matched what you were expecting.
I’d like to clarify one important point, because I don’t think I explained it well enough earlier: TheBlogger does fully support Elementor. Elementor is not blocked or unsupported here — you can build and edit pages with it freely, and you can even design a page entirely in Elementor and set it as your static homepage (Settings → Reading → “A static page” → choose your Elementor page). That gives you complete drag-and-drop control over your front page if that’s what you’re after.
The only thing that isn’t built in Elementor is the theme’s native blog index — the automatic post feed, slider and category modules you see on the demo’s “Regular” homepage. Those are generated by the theme and configured from the Customizer, which is standard for blog-focused themes. So the limitation isn’t “Elementor doesn’t work”; it’s that that one auto-generated blog feed is theme-driven rather than hand-built in Elementor.
If your goal is a fully Elementor-designed homepage, the static-page route above will get you there. I’m happy to walk you through it step by step, or to help you rebuild the demo layout you liked as an Elementor page.
On the refund: that’s entirely your decision and your right. Refund requests for Envato purchases are reviewed by the item author through Envato’s standard process, so that’s the correct channel — it isn’t something I can approve or deny from the support side. If you’d like to try the Elementor homepage approach first, just say the word and I’ll help you get it working.

As I wasn’t able to edit my pages with Elementor to customize them, and I couldn’t afford to wait any longer after all this time (as I mentioned in my support requests, I really needed to make progress), I immediately submitted my refund request through Envato and started working with a free theme. Therefore, I’m no longer using yours, I’ve restarted my site from scratch, and I’m maintaining my refund request.
