When I try to edit portfolio page in Elementor I get an error message from Elementor:
Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

I’ve tried to delete Elementor cached data and disabled default colours and fonts.
